Despite of having dropped out of high school for 7 years, and worked as a house maid and mama

very toxic marriage that ended. I joined Dandora Secondary where I did my O level and attained
grade B. I later joined the University of Nairobi where I did my B.A degree in Sociology and
Peace Studies and graduated in the year 2014 with a second class upper. I later did a diploma in
Monitoring and Evaluation at Kenya Institute of Management (K.I.M).
Later, I pursued my Masters in Counselling Psychology at KCA University, and as a way of
giving back to the community, partly my knowledge in counselling psychology will be my
donation to give free therapy sessions to the less privileged in the society that badly need therapy
session but cannot afford it.
I have worked in the diplomatic circles with Ghana High Commission and I also do cooperate
staff trainings and capacity building. I am a seasoned Staff training Facilitators and a Team
building coach.
My greatest joy and accomplishment is that out of my personal story of academic struggles, so
many kids in the slum are now benefiting with the education program I run in the slum. With over
25 students in high school and 14 students in the comprehensive school, (4 students in lower
primary and 10 students in junior school).
I as well run a feeding program under our organization -BTT and being able to cook and feed
over 500 kids in the slum daily has made my heart very happy. Not forgetting the many kids in
the slum that have acquired resilience to help them navigate through the tough life in the slum
through our mentorship program that mainly focuses on instilling resilience in the kids and the
young people living un the slum.
My hobbies are; Mentoring and empowering young people. Cooking, travelling, swimming,
socializing, listening to music and leisure dancing.
